If you have a BMI of less than 30, the medication should not be started.

Pseudoephedrine is a powerful anti-epileptic drug that has been used to treat a variety of conditions in humans, but its use is limited in South Africa. A recent study found that nearly one third of the estimated 1.1 million people in South Africa are allergic to pseudoephedrine, and one third of the people who suffer from this condition are unaware of the drug's effectiveness.
A group of researchers from the South African Institute for Safe Medication Practices, which represents the South African Research Council, and South African Medical Association, reported inthat over half of the people who suffer from pseudoephedrine (a brand name for the drug orlistat) who use it are allergic to the drug. In addition, they reported that one third of the people who suffer from this condition are unaware of the drug's effectiveness.
In this study, researchers reviewed medical records of people who have used orlistat, including those who have had an allergic reaction to it or to some other form of its active ingredient (i.e., pseudoephedrine). They found that only 1% or less of the people who have used the drug had a history of orlistat use, and those who use the drug for a long time had a history of orlistat use. Researchers found that approximately two-thirds of the people who had a history of orlistat use had no history of this condition.
“Pseudoephedrine is a powerful anti-epileptic drug, but its use is limited in South Africa,” said Dr. Paul D. Adams, who was lead author of the study. “In this study, we found that more than half of the people who suffer from pseudoephedrine are not aware of its effectiveness and are unaware of the drug's active ingredient. It is important for health care providers to be aware of this potential side effect and to be prepared to manage the situation.”
Dr. David E. Bresen, an expert in the field of andlistat, and co-director of the South African Research Council, said the study found that over half of the people who suffer from orlistat use are unaware of its effectiveness. “Some people might be unaware of the drug's effectiveness. But they have used it for years without knowing its active ingredient. This has led them to believe that they have used it for years without knowing about its active ingredient,” said Dr. Bresen.
Researchers found that the majority of people who have used orlistat for years without knowing its active ingredient are still using it when they first started. “However, the percentage of people who have been using it for years without being aware of its active ingredient is likely higher than people who had used it for years without being aware of its active ingredient. It may not be the case for those who had a history of orlistat use,” said Dr.
“Although it is important to note that it is a potent anti-epileptic drug, there are a number of factors that must be considered when choosing which medication to use,” Dr. Bresen added. “It may not be the drug's active ingredient that's the most effective.”
The study also found that almost one-third of the people who suffer from pseudoephedrine (an ingredient in orlistat) do not have a history of orlistat use. “However, they do have some experience of orlistat use,” said Dr. “In addition, there are a number of factors that must be taken into account when choosing which medication to use,” said Dr. Adams.
“People who use orlistat for a long time can have a very high likelihood of experiencing symptoms of orlistat use,” said Dr.
“These are common side effects, so these people should be cautious of using any medication for a long time. It's also important to note that some people may have a history of orlistat use, which can lead to side effects such as abdominal pain and vomiting. If you are taking any of these medications, it is important to discuss them with your healthcare provider,” said Dr.
“This study highlights the need for patients to stay informed about the benefits and risks of using these drugs and the need for patients to remain cautious when deciding which medication to use.

Tablets like (the brand name for Orlistat) work by reducing the amount of fat your body absorbs. Ordinarily, fats are broken down during the digestion process by enzymes called lipases. Xenical prevents these enzymes from working effectively, limiting how much fat your body is able to absorb. The remaining, undigested fat is then excreted.
In contrast to Xenical, weight loss injections (or pens) work by suppressing your appetite - particularly your appetite for fatty foods. Some weight loss injections also slow the digestion process down, making you feel fuller for longer. They’re simple to use - check out our for more information.
